This site hosts Kim’s doctoral dissertation, both English and Spanish versions.  It will be updated regularly with materials from her publications, presentations, academic proposals, and blogs.<\/p>\n

Professional Profile:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dr. Kim Hendi is an international presenter, researcher, and lecturer in the areas strategic planning involving multi-stakeholder engagement, information and communications technologies (ICTs), and the Internet.<\/p>\n

With expertise in the management aspects of information and knowledge; Kim was a pioneer in disseminating Canada`s best practices in advancing ICTs and the information society.  She was instrumental in promoting collaborative cross-sector projects which involved ICTs as a transversal enabler. The outcome were numerous experiences of policies and projects in Latin America that advanced the development of ICT capabilities, bridged the digital divided,  and empowered citizens as active members of the information societies.<\/p>\n

Kim holds a PhD in Political Science from the Universidad de Belgrano in Argentina, a Masters in International Affairs, a Bachelor in Business Administration, and has a Diploma in International Trade.  She is an excellent communicators, strategist, writer and mentor.<\/p>\n

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Kim lived, studied and worked many years in Buenos Aires Argentina. She currently resides in Ottawa, Canada. Kim speaks fluid English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. She is presently Senior Advisor for the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), of the Government of Canada\u2019s Ministry of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED).  Kim is also a painter, potter, curator of art exhibits, as well as a yoga and meditation practitioner.<\/p>\n
